Edwin has always been great about releasing Bookmarking Demon updates, and I just received his email announcing the latest Bookmarking Demon 4.2 release. I know some of you in the comments had been worried about the lack of main bookmarking sites, so I think you will be happy with this new version. Bookmarking Demon 4.2 now has added support for three new bookmarking sites.
Mixx is one of my favorite social bookmarking sites, so I am really excited that they added support for it. The only disadvantage with these new sites is that they require you to enter a captcha for every bookmark. I just tested it out myself, and it is a little more inconvenient. However, the software is smart enough to continue bookmarking to other sites while waiting for your captcha input. If you don’t want to go through the trouble, you easily toggle these captcha requiring sites with the new checkbox at the top.

Other new features include support for private proxies, a faster and more accurate website crawler, and the bookmarking logs are now externalized so they don’t get removed when you delete a webpage.
The big news however, is that this is the last release of the Bookmarking 4 series, and work has now begun on Bookmarking Demon 5. There are almost no details about what new features will be added, but you can see from the screenshot that Digg is one of the new sites. =)

Remember, existing users always get free updates for future releases, so make sure you grab your copy today before any future price increases.
